The effortless flow between the interior spaces, exterior spaces and views of the harbour is just one of the aspects which make this grand family home so spectacular. Inspired by Auckland's harbour edge war bunkers, Hobson Bay House is both beautiful and contradictory, "at once seemingly impenetrable and massive, and yet dissolving into the expansive horizon". Cooper Interiors loves that even with cold materials such as natural stone, concrete, steel and raw brass, the home still feels sociable and warm.
