Imperial Buildings | Fearon Hay Architects

An oldie but goodie... I just couldn't resist sharing this beautiful restoration of the Imperial Buildings by Fearon Hay Architects, as it's been one of my favourite spaces for years now. Originally built sometime between 1886 - 1911, the Imperial Buildings are a unique group of heritage buildings located in Auckland's CBD. The brief called for extensive rework, restoration and upgrades to the existing buildings with the approach of creating "a new network of circulation through the properties, enabling connection and interaction". Cooper Interiors loves the mix of old and new, perfectly complimenting each other in the open, edgy space.
